About Karin

Now an established talent in the UK, Karin began her career in Munich, Germany after having completed three years of vocational training, covering a comprehensive spectrum of jewellery, gemmology and allied crafts.
In 2002 Karin was offered a position at world famous jeweller De Beers on London’s Bond Street where she further developed her skills and expertise in top-flight jewellery and also gradually acquired a host of independent commissions.

Since setting up independently in the jewellery quarter Hatton Garden in 2007, Karin has focused on the design and manufacture of individual commissions, as well as developing her own collections inspired by her love for aquatic life. ​

Always a strong believer in traditional techniques and skills, Karin adapted the classical method of casting small metal objects into cuttlefish-bones to her needs.
The newest range are cufflinks and custom-made collar stiffeners, exclusive ranges for Bespoke Tailors.
